some spring pics from my neighborhood

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles"

2010 - what a year!

Which brings me back to the year 2010 in general. What a wonderful year!

I've been looking back a lot the past few days, which is quite natural, I suppose, during these dark and snowy, cozy days.

Starting out quite dramatically and with a big bang, as it were, and seen today that bang was just perfect, timing and all.

At the end of such a year I feel to thank all the wonderful people in my life who have been so much fun and inspiration and learning and super, super challenges. All the lovely Claudias who must have been my friends through many a lifetime. What would I do without all of you, where would I be?

All my fun and exciting friends all over the world sharing their lives and languages with me. Desert folks, batman, jetski flyer, and everyone else. Life is supposed to be good and it always is.

Thanks also to all those wonderful friends from spirit, including those mysterious ones with exciting challenges and fond memories. Thanks to you all.

And an exciting 2011 for all of you!

Life is always good and crazy and fun!

winter roses

There are even some winter roses left in my garden.
It's still really cold. Our Russian community had their winter party last night, with lots of dancing and delicious Russian food and Russian poetry. Heart-warming for my Russian soul. Seeing old and new friends and having fun.

winter pics

It's winter again, this summer was over so very fast. And it looks like real winter, too, like last year. We've been having some fun in the snow, and I took some new pictures today.

Igor is so happy, he just loves the snow. We lost one of his balls yesterday, because it must have been buried so deep in the soft snow we both couldn't find it again.
